The rules we run on
The Network Charter
A network only works if every firm in it knows exactly what it is joining. This is what Moeletsi Africa commits to its member firms, and what it asks of them in return. One tier, a capped membership, a fee that pays for hunting, and a five percent share on the work the network brings in.
01One tier, and one only
Every member firm sits on the same tier. There is no paid priority, no featured placement and no way to buy your way up the order. Where two firms both fit a brief, the routing decision is made on capability, country coverage and current capacity - never on what either of them pays.
02The fee buys marketing, not a listing
The network fee is charged monthly, on the same terms to every member. It funds the work of going out and finding clients, qualifying what comes back, and carrying the cost of the marketplace. It does not buy a job, and it is not a directory subscription.
03Five percent, on channelled work only
Where the network channels work to a member firm, Moeletsi takes five percent of the invoice for that work. The firm bills its client directly and at its own rates. Work a member firm wins on its own is its own - the network takes nothing from it.
04The cap is 120 firms
Membership closes at 120 firms across the twelve anchor countries. The cap exists so that the work the network generates is worth having when it is divided. It is not a scarcity tactic and it will not be quietly raised.
05Everybody eats, and early members eat first
Firms that join while the network is young receive work sooner, because there are fewer firms to route it to. That is the only advantage early membership carries. Over time every member firm on the tier receives work; no member is carried indefinitely without being routed to.
06Verification is separate from membership
Paying the network fee does not verify a firm and does not vouch for its work. Verification is its own process, run separately, and a member firm that fails it does not receive briefs. Membership is never presented to a client as accreditation.
07The introduction runs through the marketplace
Clients are not handed a contact list and firms do not cold-contact clients. Every introduction is made through Moeletsi Africa once the brief is qualified and the client has agreed, and the marketplace stays reachable while the work runs.
08Cross-border work stays under one roof
Where a requirement crosses countries, the network coordinates the member firms involved under a single relationship with the client. No member is cut out of work in its own country in order to simplify a cross-border file.
09Changes to this charter are made in the open
Tiering, the fee, the share and the cap will be reviewed as the network grows. Any change is put to the membership before it takes effect, and this page carries the date it was last changed. Nothing here is altered quietly.
This charter sits alongside the member agreement each firm signs. Where the two differ, the signed agreement governs. Questions about it go to Moeletsi Africa directly.
